Fruit of your doctrine!

Fruit of your doctrine!

In Matthew 7:16 Jesus informs his students that we shall know a true Christian by their “fruits”. He talks about how a healthy tree brings forth “good fruit” and an unhealthy tree brings forth “bad fruit”. Many believe that Jesus is only referring to outward deeds, what one might call “good works”. The fact is Jesus is also referring to GOOD DOCTRINE. The Pharisees did outwardly everything that their “good” traditions demanded. However, inwardly they were following “doctrines of devils” [John 8:44; 1 Timothy 4; Matthew 7:15]

Just because a fallen church denomination does outwardly what one might call “good deeds” this does not mean that they are truly doing God’s will. Jesus said; “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” [John 14:15; John 15:14] Let us not be deceived. True goodness starts when one is truly converted. Good works have to do with keeping God’s commandments which He commanded from the beginning. [Ephesians 2:10] Whenever we read the Psalms we can see that God’s people understood His Law in a healthy way. “Oh how I love thy Law”, etc. Read Psalm 1 and Psalm 119 and you can see that the patriarchs of old truly understood the goodness of God’s law.

Christians must have proper doctrine to truly have “good works”. There is no getting around this. Also, let us as Christians understand that when we are commanded to LOVE as Christ loved we do so by obeying His commandments. The love that a true Christian has is God’s love and not the fallen concept of “love” that man has brought forth. Only the truly converted, those who have the Holy Spirit can truly do GOOD WORKS.

Here at COGSR we teach “sound doctrine”. [Titus 2:1] We do not follow those who teach “another gospel” [a false gospel]. [Galatians 1:8-9] We should stay away from people who demand that we follow their false teachings no matter what their outward works show. [Romans 16:17] Please continue your studies here at COGSR [The Worldwide Church of God]. Thank you.

True survival is gained through the person of Jesus Christ

Prime instinct to survive

When SOCT talks about the “Prime Instinct” we mean the core urge or driving force within each Human being. We are here talking about that which motivates - and the idea or thought process which motivates the Human in almost all things. We are talking primarily about survival. The innate urge, need, process to survive…to live. ~

True survival is offered through Divine Intelligence [Heavenly Father] in His plan of salvation. Without this plan you will not survive, plain and simple. God created our spirits with identity seeds. We are created in the image of God and God is eternal. Thus we strive for eternal existence, we can’t help it. Many religions offer made up plans and philosophies to get people to believe in their false teachings regarding this issue. Many will spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars doing this. They pay cults and New Age movements to tell them just how to survive. ~

Every person on planet earth has the central thrust to survive through existence. People use different methods to try and achieve this. All Human goals stem from the single goal to live…survive. Jesus Christ came to help us all with this issue. Jesus Christ offers us eternal life. Those that study here at Science Of Christian Thought will come to the proper understanding of this very issue and then will become acquainted with the ultimate Plan of Salvation through Jesus Christ to truly achieve everlasting life under the best circumstances imaginable. ~

~May you gain peace profound.
