Science Of Christian Thought offers all of its students systematic understandings of very important topics. In this SOCT paper we will look at what SOCT calls “Communication Analysis [CA]”. With this tool you may begin to understand how you relate to others and how they relate to you. We will look at what we call “point contact”. In order for a point to have communication it must have some sort of contact with another point. If you understand yourself to be the “first point” you can look around at other “points”. You do not have to have direct contact with any point you wish not to. ~

Causal Connection: Your causal connection with another point means that you have noticed something in another point that brings attention to you. You may also reach out to the point to make contact in daily business or just out of courtesy. Sometimes points want to have contact with us for unpleasant reasons. ~

If you find somebody attractive (physically, emotionally, spiritually, etc) you may want to try and make contact. Whatever the cause this will be the draw. If the other point finds a cause to make contact with you then communication begins. So we could simply state that what we are calling “causal connection” amounts to some sort of attraction. We could scale this attraction like thus:  ~

0-5 common contact ~

5-10 more than common contact ~

Exchange: Next we will look at just what happens when communication between two points occurs. When contact between two points happens some sort of exchange begins to process – a giving and receiving. Sometimes communication can be a facial expression only. It can manifest as opening a door for another or helping someone pick something up or move something. Exchange can occur subtly or opennely. When verbal and physical communication begins a more intimate exchange is occurring. ~

When we analyze our exchange with another person we can look at things such as: ~

1-Is it friendship? ~

2-Does it involve material exchange such as a pay check, food, drugs, etc.? ~

3-Does it involve a sexual exchange? ~

4-Does it involve popularity? ~

5-Does it involve anger? ~

Also we can analyze just what the causal point of the exchange amounts to: ~

1-Physical attraction ~

2-Intellectual attraction ~

3-Family attraction ~

4-Material gain attraction

5-Popularity attraction

6-Anger attraction

7-Spiritual attraction

Look at what this means

When you look at fellow family members use this communication analysis to determine your connection to the person. You may find out that many of your contacts are simply put into place for selfish reasons. Remember, your first reason to make contact with another point, your causal connection, involves feelings and emotions. When both have found a cause for connection an exchange will occur. ~

If one does not believe that the exchange is healthy or productive the person can choose to stop the exchange and move on to another point. ~

Exchange can happen through subtle means without touch or verbal communication. There are many ways that communication develops. ~

When causal connection creates exchange communication between two points has occurred. ~

The person who has reached a higher level of Christian Clarity [through the practice of mocha] will choose wisely his or her points of contact and realizes that just because a point may try and find a causal connection to make contact one does not have to offer an exchange. Choose your family and friends wisely. ~

  1. “Mind of Christ Action [MOCA]: This is the point where man begins to truly think and act clearly. Only the true Christian can begin this process. It involves the development of the mind under the influence of Holy Spirit. [Romans 12:2 1 Corinthians 2:14] To have the Mind of Christ means that the individual has gone through true conversion. To receive the mind of Christ one must come into contact with Jesus Christ and His True Church. This is rare. MOCA is the ability to see things through the eyes of God. To understand the mental condition of this fallen world and to respond with the Love of God. MOCA is a mind possessed with Holy Spirit. The Christian maintains his or her individuality but is constantly guided by pure perception and is walking in Ultimate Reality. Though this is not a constant state for the Christian it is truly one to be desired.”~ E.W.King
